Industrial epoxy resin coatings screeds paints sealers North East

Epoxy floor paint and garage floor coating specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed 460m2 of high build epoxy coatings at a new build high performance garage in County Durham in the North East of England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new epoxy resin flooring system. The prepared area was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The concrete substrate was then encapsulated with a clear epoxy primer applied by roller and allowed to cure. Once the epoxy resin primer was cured a High Biuld epoxy floor paint in the colour Stirling grey was applied by roller to the primed substrate.

Once the epoxy floor paint had cured a second coat of high build epoxy floor paint was applied to the surface in the colour Stirling grey.

Line demarcation was then added in the colour Safety Yellow. The 100 linear metres of expansion joints in the substrate were packed with 10mm foam chord and then filled with a flexible polyurethane sealant to complete the operation.
