Decorative Concrete Floors - Resin Flooring North East Ltd

Solacir microscreed decorative concrete flooring has been installed at a residential property in Hexham, Northumberland by specialist Solacir Interiors contractors Resin Flooring North East Ltd.

The concrete substrate incorporating a wet underfloor heating system was prepared by dust free diamond grinding. Cracks in the concrete substrate were chased out using dust free diamond tooling.

The exposed cracks ere then filled with an epoxy resin mortar then the prepared concrete substrate was encapsulated with an epoxy resin primer and blinded with a kiln dried silica sand.

The Solacir microscreed decorative concrete flooring was then installed upon the primed substrate in the colour stone. The finished microscreed floor surface was then sealed with two coats of matt polyurethane sealer. Finally two coats of wax applied to the sealed microscreed floor surface.
