Solacir microscreed installation at Newcastle residential property

Solacir microscreed and beton cire specialist contractors Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a bespoke microscreed flooring system at a listed residential property in Westgate Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The concrete substrate which was installed by Resin Flooring North East Ltd a week ago was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new Solacir microscreed flooring system. The floor surface was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The floor surface was then primed with Solacir epoxy primer and fully blinded with Solacir fine kiln dried aggregate and left to cure. The microscreed flooring system was then installed upon the primed substrate in the colour stone.

The Solacir microscreed flooring system was then polished with dust free diamond tooling. Two polyurethane seal coats were then applied to the finished floor surface and allowed to cure.

Twos coats of wax were then applied as a final protective coating of the new microscreed floor surface.
