Microscreed Floors - Resin Flooring North East Ltd

Microscreed flooring experts Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a microscreed flooring system in an en suite walk in shower area and bathroom within a residential property in Harrogate North Yorkshire.

A floor screed was installed upon an electric underfloor heating system. The screed was then left 72 hours so that the moisture in the newly installed substrate was gone prior to installing the microscreed floor.

The floor surfaces were prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new microscreed floor. The prepared floor suraces were then primed with a fast curing epoxy resin primer and fully blinded with a fine kiln dried aggregate. Once the epoxy resin primer was fully cured the excess aggregate was removed.

The microscreed flooring system was then installed in the colour stone by trowel. Once installed and fully dried out the microscreed flooring system was then sealed with a matt polyurethane sealer to complete the operation.
