Sunderland resin driveway and resin paving specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed resin bound surfaces at the front and rear of a residential property in Fulwell Sunderland Tyne and Wear.

The concrete substrates were repaired using a high strength epoxy resin mortar. The repaired concrete substrate was then encapsulated with a fast cure epoxy primer to seal the surface of the concrete.

When the epoxy primer was cured 18mm aluminium edging trims were installed around the perimeter of the area. The resin resin bound surfacing was then mixed in a forced action mixer and applied by trowel to the prepared driveway, patio and pathway surfaces at a depth of 18mm. The colour of stone chosen by our client for this project was Autumn gold at the front of the property and Rhine Gold for the patio area at the rear of the property.
