MMA Flake System Garage Flooring Ponteland Northumberland

Northumberland MMA domestic garage flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed a fast curing acrylic flake system within a residential garage at a property in Ponteland Morthumberland. The works were executed within a 12 hour period and completed within one day.

The concrete substrate was carefully prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new MMA acrylic resin flooring system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

An MMA fast curing acrylic primer was then applied to the carefully prepared concrete substrate and allowed to cure. Once the primer had cured a fast curing liquid MMA acrylic floor screed was then applied to the primed substrate at a depth of 3mm in the colour grey and then fully blinded with 1 - 3mm pva flakes in our Glacier Peak blend.

When the floor screed was fully cured the excess flakes were removed by vacuuming. The flakes were then sealed with two coats of a fast curing clear MMA acrylic sealer. The exposed door threshold was then coated with fast curing MMA colourcoat in the colour black to complete the operation.
