Commercial resin flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have supplied and installed 1250m2 of flowable epoxy resin flooring within a commercial premises in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the North East of England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by Blastrak dust free enclosed shotblasting and dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new flowable epoxy resin flooring system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed twice with a DPM epoxy resin primer encapsulating and sealing the carefully prepared concrete substrate.

A flowable epoxy resin floor screed was then installed upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate at a depth of 3mm in the colour flint grey.

280 linear meters of expansion joints were then cut into the substrate and then filled with a flexible polyurethane sealant in the colour flint to complete the operation.
