Metallic resin flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a metallic resin flooring system at a commercial property in Manchester North West England.

The concrete substrates were prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new designer resin flooring system. The prepared concrete surfaces were then vacuumed to remove all dust and debris.

An epoxy resin primer was then applied to the prepared concrete substrates and allowed to cure.

Flowable epoxy resin flooring was then applied to the primed surfaces at a depth of 3mm to provide a regulating layer before applying the metallic resin floor finish.

Once the epoxy flowable flooring had cured the metallic epoxy coating in the colour pewter was then applied by squeegee encapsulating the whole floor surface with the metallic epoxy coating.

The patterns in this designer resin floor were created by walking on the uncured metallic floor coating on a pair of spiked shoes and using a leaf blower to move the coating around creating the effects and tones of the floor.
