Liquid Resin flooring installation Consett County Durham

A seamless liquid resin flooring system has been installed upon a concrete substrate at a farmhouse conversion in Consett County Durham which is fully compatible with the underfloor heating heating systems.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new flooring system. The cracks in the concrete substrate were chased out and filled with an epoxy resin mortar.

The area of 1670m2 was then primed using an epoxy primer and left to cure. A regulating layer of epoxy resin was then applied to the surface to fill in small irregularities with the concrete substrate and left to cure.

White polyurethane liquid resin flooring was then applied to the prepared surface at a depth of 3mm and then left to cure. The finished floor surface was then sealed with two coats of a uv stable solvent free polyurethane sealer.
