Epoxy flooring experts Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed a surface damp proof membrane and flowable epoxy flooring system at a residential garage in County Durham.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new epoxy resin flooring system. The prepared substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. A surface damp proof membrane was then applied to the prepared concrete substrate by roller and allowed to cure. Once cured a second damp proof membrane was then applied by trowel completely sealing the substrate.

A flowable seamless epoxy flooring system was then installed upon the carefully prepared substrate at a depth of 3mm in the colour mid grey encapsulating the surface to create a seamless high gloss floor finish to complete the operation.
