Epoxy Garage Flooring Cramlington Northumberland

Epoxy flooring and coatings specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed 30m2 of flowable epoxy floor screed at a residential garage in Cramlington Northumberland.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove a defective paint coat and to provide a key for the new epoxy resin flooring system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a clear epoxy primer. The carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate was then scratch coated with a high build epoxy coating to completely seal the surface.

A flowable epoxy floor screed was then installed by trowel upon the carefully prepared and sealed concrete substrate at a depth of 3mm in the colour Flint grey. A stainless steel angle was then installed at the garage door threshold to complete the operation.
