Food Grade Polyurethane Flooring Crathorne Yarm North Yorkshire

Food industry dairy flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 50m2 of food grade polyurethane floor screed and 30 linear metres of rendered upstand within the new pasteurising room at Corps House Farm which is situated in Yarm and a vending area in the village of Crathorne North Yorkshire in the North East of England

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new food grade polyurethane flooring system. A chase 10mm wide and 10mm deep was then cut into the substrate around the perimiter of the area using dust free diamond tooling to anchor the resin flooring once installed.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer and then broadcasted with a coarse dried silica aggregate.

The upstand was then rendered around the perimiter of the pasteurising room by trowel using a polyurethane wall render in the colour Ocean blue.The rendered upstand was then sealed with a polyurethane sealer coat in the colour Ocean blue.

A food grade polyurethane floor screed was then installed upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate at a depth of 9 mm by trowel in the colour Ocean Blue to complete the operation.
