Seamless Polyurethane Brewery Flooring Whitby North Yorkshire

Resin Floor screeding Specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 26m2 of polyurethane floor screed and a polyurethane coving detail within the new brewing area at Whitby Brewery which is situated at East Cliff in Whitby North Yorkshire.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new polyurethane resin floor screed. A chase 10mm wide and 10mm deep was cut into the concrete substrate around the perimiter of the area using dust free diamond tooling to anchor the resin floor screed once installed. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with an epoxy primer and left to cure. A 9mm polyurethane floor screed was then installed upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate by trowel in the colour Graphite.

A coving detail was then formed around the perimiter of the area using a polyurethane wall render in the colour Graphite. Once cured the newly formed coving detail was then sealed with a High Build polyurethane coating in the colour Graphite to complete the operation.
