Polyurethane Resin Flooring Specialists County Durham

Polyurethane flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 20m2 of food grade polyurethane floor screed within the exterior storage area at the Mcdonalds restaurant in The Arnison Centre Pity Me in County Durham North East England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove contamination and to provide a key for the new food grade polyurethane flooring system. A chase 10mm wide and 10mm deep was then cut into the substrate around the perimiter of the area using dust free diamond tooling to anchor the resin flooring once installed.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer and then broadcasted with a coarse dried silica aggregate.

A food grade polyurethane floor screed was then installed upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate at a depth of 9mm by trowel in the colour Flint grey.

A stainless steel trim was then installed at the door threshold to complete the operation.
