Food Grade Dairy Flooring County Durham North East England

Food grade dairy flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 80m2 of food grade polyurethane floor screed and 36 linear metres of coved skirting detail within the new pasteurising room at Embleton Hall Dairy, Murton Hall Farm in Wingate, County Durham North East England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to provide a key for the new food grade polyurethane flooring system. A chase 10mm wide and 10mm deep was then cut into the substrate around the perimiter of the area using dust free diamond tooling to anchor the resin flooring once installed.

The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer and then broadcasted with a coarse dried silica aggregate.

A food grade polyurethane floor screed was then installed upon the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate at a depth of 9mm by trowel in the colour Salsa red.

A coved skirting detail was then installed around the perimiter of the area 100mm high with a 2inch radius by trowel using a polyurethane wall render in the colour Salsa red. The coved skirting was then sealed with a polyurethane sealer coat in the colour Salsa red to complete the operation.
