Polyurethane Floor Screeds - Resin Flooring North East Ltd

A food grade polyurethane floor screed has been installed within the Mcdonalds restaurant at the Silverlink in Newcastle Upon Tyne by Industrial Flooring experts Resin Flooring North East Ltd.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding. Saw cuts 10mm deep and 10mm wide around the perimiter of the area and around the drain using dust free diamond tooling to anchor the polyurethane flooring system once installed.

The prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The prepared substrate was then primed with a fast curing epoxy resin primer and broadcasted with a dried coarse aggregate and alowed to cure.

A food grade polyurethane floor screed was then installed upon the primed substrate at a depth of 6mm in mid grey by trowel to complete the operation. The end result is an extremely hard wearing, seamless, hygienic, anti slip flooring system fully compliant with all food standards agency requirements.
