Polyurethane Floor Coatings - Resin Flooring North East Ltd

Industrial epoxy and polyurethane floor protection specialists Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed 450m2 of High Build Epoxy flooring and a transparent anti slip polyurethane sealer at a factory in Bishop Auckland County Durham.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove defective coatings and to provide a key for the new resin flooring system. The prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The prepared concrete substrate was then coated with a High Build Epoxy encapsulating the whole surface. The production areas were coated in the colour mid grey and the pedestrian areas in blue.

Line demarcation as then added to the perimiters of the pedestrian walkways in the colour safety yellow. The finished floor surface was then coated with a transparent anti slip polyurethane to complete the operation.
