Epoxy Floor Painting Newcastle International Airport

North East of England workshop floor painting specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 160m2 of High Build epoxy coatings within the aircraft hangar maintenance area of Naljets who are based at Newcastle International Airport in the Northy East of England

The concrete substrate was carefully prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove multiple layers of defective coatings and to provide a key for the new epoxy floor coating system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer.

An epoxy scratch coat was then applied by trowel to the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate to completely seal the area and to fill in minor irregularities in the floor surface

Two coats of High Build epoxy floor coatings were then applied to the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate by brush and roller in the colour Lincoln Green. Line demarcation was then added in the colour Safety Yellow to complete the operation.
