Epoxy Garage Flooring Eaglescliffe Stockton on Tees

Stockton on Tees garage flooring specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 36m of seamless epoxy flooring within a double garage at a domestic property at Westview Terrace, Eaglescliffe, Stockton on Teesin the North East of England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove defective coatings and to provide a key for the new epoxy resin flooring system. Once the preparation was completed the carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a solvent free DPM epoxy floor primer.

An epoxy scratch coat was then applied to the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate by trowel to fill in pin holes and completely seal the surface. Once the scratch coat was fully cured a flowable epoxy resin floor screed was then applied to the primed and sealed concrete substrate by trowel at a depth of 4mm in the RAL colour 7042 traffic grey. An anti slip epoxy coating was then applied to the finished floor surface. A stainless steel angle was then fitted to the door threshold to complete the operation.
