Water Based Epoxy Floor Coatings North East England

Industrial Flooring specialist contractors Resin Flooring North East have installed 140m2 of water based epoxy coatings at the old premises of Excel Elevator on the Glover Industrial Estate Tyne and Wear North East England. Ready to hand back to the landlord before moving to their new premises in Albany Road in Gateshead.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove defective floor screed and glue.The existing coating was then sanded with a vacuum assisted STR 701 to provide a key for the new water based epoxy floor coatings. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The carefully prepared substrate was then painted with two coats of water based epoxy coatings in the colour slate grey to complete the operation.
