Garage floor painting specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed solvent free High Build epoxy coatings within a residential garage at a property in Green Close, Nunthorpe Middlesbrough in the North East of England.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove a defective paint coat and to provide a key for the new epoxy flooring system. Once the preparation was completed the carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a solvent free epoxy floor primer.

An epoxy scratch coat was then applied to the carefully prepared and primed concrete substrate by trowel to fill in pin holes and completely seal the surface. Two coats of solvent free High Build epoxy floor coatings were then applied to the carefully prepared substrate in the colour Stirling Grey to complete the operation.
