Commercial garage floor painting specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 300m2 of High Build epoxy coatings within the garage workshop of Boam Automotive Engineering who are situated at Harvey Court in Crook, County Durham in the North East of England.

The concrete substrate was carefully prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove oil contamination a defective coating and to provide a key for the new epoxy floor coating system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer. Once the primer was fully cured an epoxy scratch coat was applied to the substrate by trowel to fill in lots of holes in the floor caused by impact damage.

Two coats of a High Build epoxy floor coating with an anti slip addative were then applied to the carefully prepared substrate by brush and roller in the RAL colour 7042 Traffic Grey to complete the operation.
