Industrial epoxy flooring experts Resin Flooring North East Ltd have installed 760m2 of anti slip high build epoxy resin flooring at a car auctions garage and showroom.

The concrete substrate was prepared by dust free captive shotblasting and dust free diamond grinding to remove a defective floor paing and to provide a key for the new epoxy flooring system. The prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris.

The prepared concrete floor surface was then primed with a water based epoxy primer and allowed to cure. The roadways were then masked up and coated with a high build epoxy resin coating in a dark grey. The public viewing areas were then coated with a light grey using a high build epoxy coating. This process was repeated and a second coat of high build epoxy coating applied.

Line demarcation as then added to the perimiters of the roadways. A clear polyurethane anti slip floor sealer was then applied to the finished floor surface to complete the operation.
