Commercial floor painting specialists Resin Flooring North East have installed 100m2 of High Build epoxy coatings within the new unit of Print Cakes who are located at Stanfield Business Centre in Hendon Sunderland Tyne and Wear.

The concrete substrate was carefully prepared by dust free diamond grinding to remove a defective coating and to provide a key for the new epoxy floor coating system. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then vacuumed to remove all traces of dust and debris. The carefully prepared concrete substrate was then primed with a DPM epoxy primer. Once the primer was fully cured an epoxy scratch coat was applied to the substrate by trowel to fill in hundreds of holes in the floor caused by impact damage by the previous occupants.

Two coats of a High Build epoxy floor coating were then applied to the carefully prepared substrate by brush and roller in the RAL colour 7040 window grey to complete the operation.
